KANASU TEJAS
Radiance & Purification
As the intensity of the monsoon fades and the air begins to lighten, the body enters a transitional phase of consolidation and purification. The autumn season - Sharad Ritu - is considered in Ayurvedic tradition to be a time when Pitta Dosha, aggravated by the heat of summer, begins to express itself through the skin and deeper tissues. Kanasu TEJAS is designed to work with this seasonal dynamic: supporting skin wellness, internal purification, and a return to radiance after the long monsoon.
Retreat Overview
TEJAS combines external Ayurvedic beauty and skin wellness practices with internal purification protocols, creating a programme that addresses radiance from both outside and within.
External practices include the Ayurvedic Facial (a complete ritual using constitution-specific herbal preparations, including cleansing, steaming, massage, and herbal pack), Navara Theppu (a cooling, nourishing full-body rice treatment), and Ubtan (traditional exfoliation using flowers, nuts, lentils, sandalwood, turmeric, and oils - a practice with deep roots in Indian beauty traditions).
Internal wellness practices address Pitta pacification and autumn digestive support, with naturopathic nutrition guidance focused on seasonal foods that support skin integrity and metabolic balance. Yoga sessions during TEJAS emphasise cooling and stabilising sequences, with morning Yoga Nidra and pranayama that support restful sleep.
For the 21-day programme, TEJAS integrates selected Panchakarma preparatory practices (particularly Virechana, traditionally used for Pitta-related wellness support) as medically appropriate, providing a deeper internal cleansing layer to complement the external radiance work.

Guest Outcomes
Guests completing TEJAS frequently report a visible improvement in skin quality and tone alongside a deeper sense of internal balance. Many describe feeling more settled, clear-headed, and at ease as the programme progresses. The combination of external beauty practices and internal wellness work is often described as uniquely holistic - addressing radiance as an expression of internal health rather than surface-level appearance.
Individual results may vary. Outcomes depend on personal health conditions and commitment to the programme.
