Sound Healing at Kanasu is an ancient yet profoundly relevant therapeutic practice that uses the vibrational power of sound instruments to restore harmony across the body, mind, and spirit. Drawing from both the Indian classical tradition and time-honoured sound healing tools including Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks, gongs, and chanting sessions are designed to shift the body out of a state of stress and into deep cellular restoration. Sound healing works on the principle that every organ, tissue, and cell in the body has a natural resonant frequency, and that illness or imbalance arises when that frequency is disrupted. By bathing the body in precise therapeutic frequencies, Sound Healing gently nudges the system back into coherence. It is an entirely passive, deeply immersive experience no prior knowledge or effort is required.

How It Works
You lie comfortably on a mat or therapy table, fully clothed, in a softly lit, acoustically prepared space. The practitioner begins with a grounding breath practice to help you arrive in the present moment. Singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, or other instruments are then played around and sometimes gently placed on the body each producing rich overtones and sustained vibrations that travel through the body's tissues. Sessions are carefully sequenced, beginning with slower, grounding frequencies and gradually moving into more expansive, harmonising tones before returning to stillness. The session concludes with a period of silence, allowing the body to integrate the experience fully. Sessions typically last 45–75 minutes.
